We'd like to recommend a fantastic book about habits. You have probably read books about habits before, but we'll be surprised if you don't find this one well worth your time and money to purchase and read. It's called
Atomic Habits and the author is
James Clear. Clear has a large internet presence. Some of you may receive his regular emails or read his blog posts.
"As habits are created, the level of activity in the brain decreases," writes Clear. Those of us with ADHD are usually happy to find any tools that help calm our brains, reduce our stress, and move activities from consciousness to what Clear calls "nonconsciousness."
Even though we receive Clear's emails, we didn't purchase the book until a colleague told us it was the best book on habits she had ever read! And she reads a LOT of books!
