Vacations are looked forward to all year as a time for traveling to new places or spending time with people we don't see regularly throughout the year.
It can happen that a vacation, a planned pause and change of
scene, ends up feeling like even more work than normal, if we don't specifically make a plan to slow our pace and calm our brains and bodies. Who among us has not been on a vacation from which we returned more exhausted than we were before we left for that highly anticipated pause?
What can you learn from past vacations, either those that left you more tired than before or those that provided just exactly the change of scene and
change of pace that you need? You might want to keep a record of what worked well and what you'd like to avoid in future summers!
